As usual, reading Gwen Zepeda's writing is a cathartic experience. Zepeda's humor and warm, intelligent style will leave the reader longing for her own Tío Jaime.

You might like To the Last Man I Slept with, and All the Jerks Just Like Him, which is the first book by Zepeda that I read.
